Here are the steps for using the FURminator Short Hair brush effectively:

1. Ensure your cat's fur is clean and completely dry before grooming.
2. Check your cat for any wounds, scratches, or injuries. If you notice any, seek advice from a vet or licensed cat groomer. Avoid using the Furminator on areas with wounds or injuries.
3. Gently comb the Furminator in the same direction as your cat's fur, using long strokes and avoiding repeated strokes in the same spots. Take extra care around sensitive areas such as the abdomen, legs, genitals, and anus. Avoid applying too much pressure to prevent redness and irritation. Stop combing if you notice any redness.
4. Regularly remove excess hair from the Furminator using the button, ensuring efficient fur removal and preserving your cat's coat.
